I’m happy if you want to contact me before, during or after the sessions. I don’t have any problems with parents being present during the sessions. The videoconference platform I use, Zoom, allows to have more than two participants on the same session, so you as parent/carer can be present at the sessions from a mobile device or another computer whenever you want to check that things are going all right.
Since I’m not and I’ve never been a resident of the US, nor of Canada, I can’t provide you with a criminal background check relevant for US/Canada (I’m a resident of Mexico). For similar reasons (and the fact that I mostly teach at universities and private tutoring), I don’t hold a teaching license for those countries.
Now, that doesn’t mean I take your safety or the student’s safety lightly. I have taken some courses on children’s protection online. You can also read the privacy policy to see what information I collect from parents and students.
